We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team, based at our UK head Office at Interlink, Coalville. Working closely with suppliers, the main focus of this role is to process supplier invoices for trade and non-trade in line with agreed payment terms to ensure we continue to receive deliveries from our suppliers. We're looking for team player with good attention to detail to become an integral member of our fast paced Accounts Payable department. Inputting and matching supplier invoices to purchase orders Clearing accruals and inputting supplier invoices on to the Oracle system to ensure payment to suppliers for services provided Reconciling supplier statement to ensure outstanding invoices are processed for payment Liaising with suppliers to ensure that credit notes are received for returned stock Reconciling accruals against supplier statements to ensure that the correct goods have been booked into the warehouse and resolve any associated queries by liaising with logistics and sales Producing customer invoices for good which have been sent direct to customers from suppliers Preparing and processing weekly payment runs for all companies within the Antalis Group Accounts Payable | Purchase Ledger | Accounts | invoices Essential Skills Good communication and negotiation skills to deal with suppliers over the phone High level of attention to detail Ability to manage a high-volume workload Strong team player with a flexible approach Previous experience within a purchase ledge or accounts environment Previous experience with accounting software Working towards, or willing to work towards AAT is desirable About Company We are a market leading Paper, Digital and Packaging merchant.
