Principle responsibilities for the Senior Accountant: Responsible for all compliance aspects for clients Managing the day to day client relationship and queries Responsible for training of junior staff, including appraisal of work Responsible for the efficient functioning of compliance work in general Developing abilities in more complex areas of tax & other client matters Responsibility for the achievement of work within budget, able to discuss fees with clients Achievement of chargeability and recoverability targets Demonstrate good commercial skills in negotiating fees with clients and in decision making on jobs Taking responsibility for the ongoing management of clients, workflow, supervision, training, the compliance function Audit for a variety of clients - overseeing the audits and helping junior team members Person specification: ACA or ACCA qualified or by experience Significant experience within a firm of accountants Able to problem solve and find quick solutions to problems Friendly and fun personality Hardworking individual Ability to manage their own work load Good communication skills A high level of IT skills, proficient in Microsoft office to include Microsoft Excel Be able to prioritise, plan and organize workloads whilst in a busy environment Team player This is a full time permanent Senior Accountant position, which working hours of Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, offering an annual salary between £30,000-£35,000.
