We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for our clients who are a leading technology solutions company. Working within a small team the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be a key member at processing any payment of the company's suppliers and to ensure all daily targets are achieved. Main Responsibilities : Daily: Sorting all the new supplier invoices, credits and statements Posting the new supplier invoices on the system Invoicing off direct orders Invoicing requested orders Filing (purchase orders/ sales invoices) Weekly or every few days: Regular invoices, posting onto the database, GP reduction Checking credits against CSRs and posting them Checking and invoicing outstanding and OCC orders Purchase invoice queries Batching invoices Raising new eBay orders and invoicing them Monthly: Processing Fixed / Mobile Phone Invoices Processing Fuel Cards - Barclaycard / Miles Consultancy & Car Leasing Processing Hotel Invoices Processing Company Credit Transactions Raise month end payment run Carry out other general office tasks as & when required Candidates must have: At least one years accounts purchase ledger experience Strong awareness of the consequences and implication of actions Efficient administrative & organisational skills Ability to work on own initiative & pro actively Ability to work effectively under pressure & to deadlines Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages Willingness to be flexible and work as a key member of a cohesive team Strong negotiation skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to work well as part of a team and individually SAGE 200 experience - Desirable Microsoft Dynamics - Desirable
