My client is a long time established and innovative provider of commerce solutions, operating on a multinational level, looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to provide extra assistance to the accounts department on a rolling temporary placement at their Peterborough office. The successful candidate will be able to slot straight in to the team, providing support through a range of different responsibilities included but not limited to:
• Verifying entries and comparing reports to balances to reconcile accounts
• Charging expenses
• Reconciling invoices and paying suppliers
• Maintaining account ledgers
• Verifying and posting account transactions
• Maintaining historical records
• Reporting on request
• Liaising with suppliers
• Other ad hoc duties to be confirmed As well as a good working knowledge of the purchase ledger, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
