We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Clerk to join Northgate's busy finance team based in Darlington. It's a fantastic opportunity to join an established team where you can gain experience within an establish finance department and develop further. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you'll process a high volume of supplier invoices, making sure suppliers get paid for properly authorised work and goods with key duties including statement reconciliation, controlling part of the company`s payables ledger and answering supplier queries over the telephone. The ideal Purchase Ledger will have previous Northgate experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. You'll need excellent communication skills and have good attention to detail. You must be a self-starter and able to work in a team environment. You must be able to work to tight deadlines, user of Microsoft Office to compile reports within short time frames at various points throughout the month.
