Job Title Finance Hub Facilitator Salary £35k Benefits Main Purpose of Job To provide a first port of call for businesses which need investment to start or grow. Key Skills Candidates will need to have experience in providing business and financial planning support. Scope of Job - First point of contact for businesses seeking investment - Assess business plans - Assist with financial forecasting and other supporting information - Identify and advise businesses of suitable finance products on the market - Offer coaching and mentoring to develop investment propositions and get them pitch ready - Introduce businesses to suitable finance providers, useful contacts and organisations - Provide support at meetings with lenders and investors - To understand support that is available locally and who that is provided by - Consider the non-financial needs of the business and make appropriate introductions - Build a mentor network - Make presentations/attend networking events - Discuss the outcomes shown by the forecast figures, including when a business proposition is not viable - Explain what information they will need to enable them to apply for funding - Provide introductions to appropriate support and funding organisations - Attend meetings with alternative funding providers, to provide support Skills/Personal Attributes Ideally CIMA qualified accountant Previous SME business experience Excellent Microsoft Offices skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Connections within the Liverpool City Region business and professional community (ideal but not essential) Outgoing and sociable Hard working self-starter This role includes business development and promoting the offering provided by the company. This includes attending a variety of events and giving presentations at seminars and to businesses and introducers.
