This rapidly expanding East Bristol employer has a priority need to recruit a Financial Planning Accountant with commercial acumen to support the budgeting process. Working closely with multiple stakeholders across the business including Operations, Management Accounting team and Business Support Managers you will assist with delivering a budget that is owned locally by the business units. Alongside the FP Manager you will take responsibility for: Populating and building / refreshing models, Delivering training on how to use the budget templates - via on-line training and group sessions (travel required) Ensuring models reconcile to reported group actuals, and updated during the process Ensuring all consolidation reports and overview documents are available before the process commences Multiple detailed review and challenge of the Budgets submitted Assisting the delivery of a Budget for each business unit Skills and experience required: Part qualified, ideally final stages of CIMA/ACCA Must have strong communication skills and be able to provide training to non-finance people as well as building up relationships Must have previous experience in budgeting Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and V Lookups Capable of operating in a fast paced environment Strong attention to detail, and able to deliver right-first-time results quickly without getting lost in the detail Deadline focused Artis Recruitment provide specialist recruitment services within HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Marketing, Customer Contact and Executive Search.
