We are delighted to be representing a well established local client in their search for an Accounts Assistant to work on either a full or part time based, based just outside Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Reporting to the accountant, this role is responsible for all transactional elements of their accounts department, typical duties include: Processing purchase ledger invoices for all group companies Inputting invoices, coding and matching - gaining approval from line managers Reconciling credit card invoices and statements Opening new customer accounts Maintaining records for customer accounts Processing refunds Petty Cash Other adhoc duties The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Proven track record in a small business environment within an accounting role is essential Able to work unsupervised with real attention to detail IT Literate Excellent communication skills This role is available on either a full time or part time basis (minimum of 30 hours per week), and to start as soon as possible.
