Robert Half are working with a leading Public Sector organisation in Bristol who are looking to recruit for a research Accountant on an initial 6-month temporary basis but there is permanent scope within the role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong assistant accountant or analyst to take on more responsibility in a cost driven role that is vital to the business's progression. The role: Provide costing support to the head of Projects to help determine spending and true costings of a variety of projects Providing financial advice to researchers, help monitor budgets and reconcile funding/grants received Provide training to non-finance professional when necessary and produce training manuals. Dealing with large amounts of data, some being historic and managing this to produce trends, reports and findings to be presented to senior managers Your Profile: Previous experience working with large amounts of data and producing reports for board members Experience working in a project-based role, dealing with multiple organisations and suppliers Very strong excel skills and ability to manipulate this data Strong communication skills in a business partnering capacity This role is initially a 6-month assignment based in Bristol and will pay between £30,000-£35,000 annual equivalent.
