Redline Group is a successful, specialist Contract & Permanent recruitment consultancy established in 1982. We employ 60 people from modern offices on the Herts/Beds borders and a specialist Executive Search business from a satellite office in London. The company focuses within the high technology and engineering sectors, supporting small, medium and large clients across the UK and Europe. Due to continued expansion, we seek an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our Accounts team. The role is initially part-time (15-20 hours) with flexible start and finish times, with the opportunity to grow within the business. Duties are varied supporting our whole accounts function but will include:-
• Sales invoicing and sales/purchase ledger
• Credit control
• Staff expenses
• Support of our weekly contractor payroll The ideal applicant will have a blend of the following:-
• Experienced in a wide range of financial areas of a small/ medium sized business o Suppliers / Credit control / purchasing o Computerised systems - Databases and transactions, payroll etc
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic growing business
• Computerised accounts, ideally Sage 50 or similar
• Highly MS Office literate (Word, Excel, etc)
• Strong communicator, internally and externally
• Ability to gather cross-departmental information to support credit control and for query resolution
• Be results oriented, want to own and finish projects and problems The role may suit a return to work parent, or someone looking to do fewer hours but still be involved in a fast-paced, exciting business, and keen to make a difference.
