They deliver amazing, life-changing support to over 60,000 stroke survivors and their families each year. Salary:

Closing Date: 25th January 2019 Interview Date: Week commencing 4th February 2019 This is an exciting time to join this charity in a newly established finance team at their Northampton Resource Centre. Following a recent modernisation programme and a strategic review of their finance operations, they are relocating their finance team from London to Northampton. They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Financial Controller to join the team. Reporting to the Executive Director - Finance and Resources, the Financial Controller will provide leadership of the central finance team at the Northampton Resource Centre. With responsibility for the Associations financial processes the role will ensure that finance systems, processes and controls are fit for purpose and scalable. Managing a team of 5 staff the Financial Controller will also be responsible for the monthly management reporting, the external audit, Statutory accounts, management of the working capital, and the budgeting and forecasting process. You'll be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience of staff management, production of monthly management accounts and annual Statutory accounts. Strong system and communication skills are key, with an enquiring mind and ability to bridge the gap between finance and non-finance departments. Experience of working in a health based Charity is desirable, but not required.
