French Speaking Accounts Assistant - Permanent - Watford - Up to £28,000 In2 Consult has an exciting opportunity for a French speaking Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic, fun and growing company based in Watford. My client is a global leader in their industry and are internationally recognised as this. The position is working with the Accounts Payable Supervisor to help maintain and develop new business practices and procedures related to the payable processes and administer the data related to transactions. The candidate will also work with many internal and external business partners to ensure that work is delivered on time and adhered to targets. The duties of this role: Processing high volumes of vendor payments Participating in financial statement close cycle and operational accounting functions in order to ensure accurate recording of accounts payable transactions. Reporting on reasons for ledger balance movement over month ends including GRNI and trade creditors Reconciling balance sheets Reconciling bank accounts Reconciling items and invoices on the GRNI accounts Process weekly payment runs as well as manual payments as required Ensuring all invoices and payments adhere to company policy/procedure before paying them Auditing Travel & Expense reports submitted in your allocated region Update vendor details to ensure payments are made correctly Developing and maintaining SOX documentation and instructions Ensure business users and vendors follow defined Accounts Payable procedure for raising POs The requirements for this position: Must be fluent in English and French (essential) Must have balance sheet reconciliations experience Must have at least 2 years Accounts Payable experience Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel The benefits of this role: Great salary 26 days annual leave bank holidays Fantastic pension scheme Free parking
