Our client is an exciting and succesful retailer who are seeking to hire an Interim Commercial Finance Manager. The Interim Commercial Finance Manager will be a highly commercial role. This is a key role that will continue to accelerate the development and success of the business. You will be working with senior management across all key functions, the main responsibilities of this varied and challenging role. You'll be a business partner, working with the various non-finance teams (B&M, Digital, International, Sales and Marketing) to partner them in driving performance and profitability. You will create better MI and then challenging the business, being part of decision making and then, creating enhanced performance and profitability. You will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, both short term and long-range planning. The role will have a lot of commerciality but there will be involvement in strategic business projects including business cases and investment appraisals. My client is looking for someone who is pro-active, credible and can operate with clarity and assurance in a positive manner. The company has a very engaging culture and need people who can easily build relationships. My client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and highly capable individual. Sector experience in retail, multi-sire or FMCG will be valuable and ideally is what my client is seeking. The Interim Commercial Finance Manager role is paying a very strong day rate.
