Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have responsibility for managing the accounting function for both operations and office staff. The Role: Reporting to the group Headquarters on a periodic basis Managing the accounting function for operations & office staff at two locations Coordinating the development of the systems to support business growth Monitoring gross margins/contributions while optimising sales mix Monthly profit forecasting, providing reports on a weekly and monthly basis on performance metrics Monitoring working capital management with focus on inventory and credit management Generating the necessary financial information, highlighting profit potential and/or inefficiencies Supporting the Group in relation to general development or specific issues Preparing and submitting monthly management accounts and VAT Returns for a standalone commercial entity Other ad hoc tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business The desired candidate will be : Qualified Accountant Strong business acumen and analytical skills along with the ability to review and submit monthly management accounts Commercially focussed with a strong disciplined professional approach Self-motivated and empowering leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail Excellent IT skills Industry background - manufacturing / distribution desired You can expect to receive : Highly competitive salary 6% pension contribution 25 days holiday Flexi-time plus early Friday finish
