Finance Assistant Yolk Recruitment is growing rapidly. As part of the newly formed Recolution Group, comprising Yolk and City Executive Search, we are experiencing higher workload in the Finance Department than ever before, resulting in the newly created role of Finance Assistant. We're a dynamic business, frequently on the Fast Growth 50, requiring equally dynamic and driven people. In this role you will focus on sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, expenses and credit control, ensuring the company's growth is able to be continued successfully and effectively. You will: Ensure all customers and suppliers are set up in line with their Accounting & Policies Manual Process all sales and purchase invoices including ensuring that invoices and credit notes are processed Deal with cash allocation of payments and receipts Ensure timely cash receipts in line with contractual terms. Issuing reminder letters promptly and escalating to the Finance Director and Sales team accordingly Ensure timely cash payments in line with pre-determined payment dates Handle and resolve customer and internal sales related queries Handle and resolve supplier related and internal queries Manage accounts mailbox Prepare month-end reconciliations of accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash book accounts (including all petty cash accounts) Ensure monthly statements are dispatched to the customer and all supplier statements are reconciled upon receipt including investigation and resolution of variances Control monthly posting and reconciliation of bank accounts Ensure sales database is kept up to date and accurate at all times Process weekly payroll for temporary workers Ensure all T&C documents are up to date and filed correctly Monitor T&C database and coordinating renewals Ad hoc finance duties Requirements To be successful in this role you will have the drive and confidence to speak to customers and suppliers over the phone and to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
