Purchase Ledger Manager Chase and Holland are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to lead a team of two purchase ledger clerks at a reputable business in Lincoln. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will join an experienced team within this ambitious well-known business in Lincoln. You will be an effective communicator to both internal and external stakeholders and will be able to build relationships with key personnel within other group functions. You will be part of a team responsible for processing a volume of supplier invoices. The team also ensure approvals and processes are within policy guidelines and standards, as well as handling and resolving all related queries. This role would ideally suit someone who has experience working in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities Manage a team of purchase ledger clerks and inputters. Manage workload of the team, allocating a balanced portfolio of accounts to each clerk. Re-enforcing and overseeing the query resolution process. Managing invoice query list and ensuring resolution within appropriate time frames. First point of contact with Accounts and Procurement for that division. Identifying weaknesses in processes and recommending appropriate solutions. Ensure supplier statement recs are completed accurately and on a timely basis. Assist in preparation and review of after-date invoice list. Qualifications and experience The Accounts Payable Team Leader may have a relevant qualification (e.g. AAT) and will have several years of experience working within busy purchase ledger functions. Excellent attention to detail and organised. The ideal candidate will be capable of prioritising and delegating work to team members. Who should apply?
