Robert Half Finance and Accounting are seeking a Financial Controller for a growing services organisation based in Cardiff. Role Reporting into a dynamic and progressive Finance Director this is a new role to be the Financial Controller of a stand-alone growing division. This role is hugely varied - you will be fully responsible for the financial reporting and business partnering for this growing company. This will at one level include: double entry bookkeeping, management accounting , budgets , reviewing payroll, VAT returns, accruals and prepayments and bank transactions. However you will also be the key finance business partner for this division. This will include both liaising and presenting to the senior management within the business. As such we need a confident and robust candidate who enjoys understanding and communication in detail what the key financial and operational drivers are within a SME business. The organisation is hugely acquisitive so there will be amble prospects for progression.
