Hays Senior Finance are currently partnered with a rapidly growing national business based in Perth & Kinross to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a full-time job offering upward of £35,000 depending on experience. Your new company is a dynamic and highly reputable organisation with fantastic development and progression prospects. Joining a small team, you will assist them across financial accounting, working across a multi-site environment and reporting directly to the CEO



Your new role
The Financial Accountant job offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast paced environment. Undertaking a varied and challenging workload, day to day you will be responsible for ensuring that periodic reports are prepared and that exceptions are identified and challenged. You will generate ad-hoc information including overhead reporting & analysis, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting. You will also be responsible for forecasting, and you will use your knowledge and experience to identify areas of improvement/weaknesses and suggest modifications as appropriate.


What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or an exam qualified accountant on the upward curve of their career who is looking to make an impact on a growing business. Essential experience of MS packages Excel to undertake complex analysis and preparation of financial statements. Experience of using a ERP system would also be an advantage. You will deliver reports with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and you will possess the ability to use your own initiative and suggest new ideas.
