Payroll Team Leader

Basingstoke 12 month FTC On behalf of our client, a large, international organisation we are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join their offices in Basingstoke. The Payroll Team Lead will support and drive the team to ensure work is allocated and executed satisfactorily and a robust controls environment is maintained. The roles and responsibilities of the Payroll Team Leader will include: Leading, managing and planning day to day Payroll activities Maintaining and improving all payroll processes Maintaining and demonstrating knowledge of statutory and Payroll legislation. Reconcile month and year end processes ensuring accurate Statutory and other returns Managing the relationship with the international payroll provider Being the first point of contact for auditors both external and internal Completing induction and training for new members of the team The ideal Payroll Team Leader will: Have a strong Secondary Education qualifications and CIPP preferable Be experienced in working in a busy payroll department at supervisory level Have experience of international payroll processing Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to Payroll Be technically knowledgeable and systems orientated, comfortable with payroll systems (ideally Cyborg) and a proficient user of MS Office Applications Customer focus; able to provide accurate information in a timely fashion 1-1 Recruitment is one of the leading recruitment agencies for jobs in Basingstoke for permanent, temporary and contract recruitment solutions.
