Finance Analyst - £21,000 - £33,000 Dependent on Experience

Your new company, based in central Cardiff, are one of the leaders in the Financial Services industry today with products ranging from pensions life insurance and general insurance.

Your new role
Your duties will include reviewing and approving journals for posting to Oracle. Responsibility for financial reconciliations including the investigation and clearing of outstanding items. Contribute to the accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial / management accounts, related revenue, balance sheet, tax or other regulatory returns. Assist and deliver analytical support and management information to various business units. Assist internal or external auditors as and when required. Identify & resolve issues & errors found in Accounting Operations processes as well as identifying opportunities for process improvements. Provide cross training within the team. Assist with maintenance, development and integration of relevant systems.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a minimum part-qualified for ACCA / CIMA or similar. A minimum of two years relevant work experience. Intermediate knowledge of Excel to include use of pivot tables & v look ups. Good finance systems skills particularly on Oracle ledger systems and MI reporting tools.

What you'll get in return
