Client Details

The client is a leading national business services provider who offer a wide range of services to their clients all over the UK. The successful candidate will work from their office based in North Yorkshire.

Description

  • Support the Accountant in all day to day finance processes
  • Support period end processes
  • Prepare financial journals for review
  • Preparation of journals for review and working on ad hoc projects.
  • Analyse financial and non-financial records
  • Undertake cash flow monitoring
  • Prepare account reconciliations for review
  • Operate with transparency and ensure excellent record keeping for audit trail
  • Assist others teams within finance on an ad hoc basis
  • Carry out administrative tasks, filing and other ad hoc duties
  • Ensure that the business' customer care standards are maintained when dealing with all stakeholders, including an
  • Effective response to complaints
  • Ensure that all duties, including dealings with all stakeholders, are conducted within the business' policies and
  • procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information gained during the course of employment that relates to stakeholders
  • Undertake other duties which may reasonably be assigned to you by (or with agreement of) your line manager
  • Operate with openness and transparency and ensure excellent record keeping for audit trail

  • Part qualified
  • Strong Excel and numeracy skills
  • Methodical, organised, efficient and effective

  • Entry level accounting/bookkeeping knowledge
  • Full understanding of policies and procedures
