Our leading Asset management client are adding resource across 2 programmes that cover The Asset Management Market Study Regulation. Both roles are beginning to look at fund charges, recommendations, value and performance impacts through advice. This will look at all funds under management to ensure they are being managed in the best way for customers as well as in line with regulatory advice / controls. This area is undertaking the analysis of the assets under management looking at the data, MI on offer & understanding impact changes / areas for improvement. The business need candidates from the following background: Asset management / fund management / Investment Management Regulatory programmes (knowledge of Asset Management Market Study Regulation would be looked upon favourably). Investigation / analysis programmes looking into complex asset / fund data Business analysis Investment products (this is a must have) Knowledge of investment charges The role will involve: MI / data analysis Pulling trends from data & being able to articulate it through documentation / presentations Management of key stakeholders to suggest recommendations to process improvements Gap analysis Working closely with team members and other areas to ensure coherent customer treatment plans and consistent remediation activities are delivered in a timely manner This role is pivotal for the bank as it understands it's position in line with the new regulation. It will shape the banks approach to charges it imposes as well as any remediation activities that need to be addressed going forward. The is a 6 month initial contract that could extend far beyond the initial term.
