Our client is growing their successful team and they are looking for an experienced management accountant from a manufacturing background to join them This is a varied role within a challenging environment of a successful and growing business going through change. Experience of working in manufacturing and a challenging organisation is therefore essential. Working alongside the financial controller you will be concentrating on the preparation of management accounts and Statutory Accounts schedules. You'll be assisting with preparation of budgets and forecasting and overall management of cash flow management. Other responsibilities will include:
• Cash flow management
• Preparation of management information
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Month end close process
• Maintain Performance Measurements
• Undertake complex reconciliations
• Prepare audit information schedules
• Submit VAT and EC Sales returns
• Manage monthly payroll function Desired qualifications, skills and experience To be considered we are looking for the following:
• Part or fully qualified ACMA or ACCA (or equivalent)
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
