Head of Finance for a growing public sector enterprise based in Mid-Kent.

Your new role
Working under a newly formed group, you will be responsible for leading and energising a team of accountants, responsible for the day to day financial operations alongside continuing to aid some transformation projects within the business.
You should demonstrate a recent history of leading medium to large finance teams ideally within the charity / not for profit / housing sector, and alongside producing accounts under SORP 102, handling activities around -
- Financial Controls
- Developing internal / external relationships
- Managing external Audit
- Ensuring reporting deadlines met
- Tax / VAT POC
What you'll need to succeed
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Sound recent knowledge of SORP (FRS 102)
- Managed a finance team in recent roles
- Thorough knowledge of production of statutory accounts
