Our large corporate client is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Manager to manage a team of AP Clerks.

Description

  • Take responsibility for the day to day management of the processing teams, ensuring efficient, accurate and timely payment of suppliers, sub-contractors, consultants and staff expenses.
  • Lead, motivate, coach and develop team to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and delivery of objectives to create a positive working environment
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of core services to a high standard and identify efficiency's to key business processes
  • Select and develop the right people
  • Report accurate PL information to management as required.
  • Work with management to plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
  • To comply with Company Policies and Procedures
  • To fulfill Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy Statement, Manual and Safe Systems of Work
  • To support and practice the Company's Quality Policy and Mission Statement
  • To follow the Company's Equality's Policies in relation to other staff, customers and members of the Group, at a level appropriate to the post
  • To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description.

Experience managing a large team

Intermediate Excel knowledge

Good organisational skills and time management

Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential
