Description
Reporting to the Group FD and divisional CEO, the role will encompass business partnering the divisional CEO, leading the group MI function and driving the commercial understanding of the business. The preferred candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and will have proven success in optimising business performance in the provision of effective financial and commercial analysis and reporting.
Key role responsibilities as Divisional Finance Director include:
- Coordinate operational, commercial and financial MI and reporting
- Provide operational managers with insight in to the performance and efficiencies of their respective areas
- Identify areas of weakness, under performance and highlight opportunities for improvement
- Drive the commercial understanding of the business and to raise awareness of operational and commercial performance
- Lead a small team, providing guidance and support and ensuring the efficient production of accurate and consistent reporting that is valuable to operational managers and the board
- Delivering ad hoc projects as required within the wider group and supporting the Group FD with deliverables as and when needed
- Interacting with senior managers and board members on a regular basis
Profile
To be considered for the role of Divisional Finance Director , candidates must be/have:
- Fully qualified (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
- Experience in a similar role ideally within Financial Services
- Proven track record at leading and developing a team
- A true people person with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders
Job Offer
A basic salary of £75,000 - £80,000, car allowance and bonus
