Currently recruiting for a Commercially focused Financial Controller to join a market leading SME FMCG business based in Bedford. The role offers a broad and exciting remit within a growing entrepreneurial business along with a great working culture and career progression available. Core
Responsibilities:
Take ownership for month end financial accounts and improving reporting processes- drive efficiencies throughout. Run month end processes across a fast-paced multi-site UK remit with multinational stakeholders Preparation of annual budgets for UK and multi-national entities Develop and drive improvements across a KPI reporting structure, partnering closely with operations and sales Manage a small team of three direct reports Build internal stakeholder relations up to FD and MD also work closely with external stakeholders, operations managers and directors Quarterly forecasting for entities to highlight performance outturn Strong involvement with project work dictated primarily by the ERP migration Business Process owner for finance & HR on ERP project Drive continuous improvements of reporting functions and efficiencies minimising our cost base Core competencies: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant Experience within FMCG/retail PLC environment is advantageous Strong communicator and experience of management Excellent IT and excel skills Strong month end process within similar fast paced environment or multi-site remit If this could be you or anyone within your network, feel free to apply below or conversely drop me an email on This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/84723717
