Finance Assistant required to join an excellent software business based in Cambridge. This role reports into the Finance Manager and will work alongside a Purchase Ledger Clerk supporting with the day to day running of the finance function. Day to day duties will involve; -Assist in the management of the Accounts Receivable function -Monthly preparation of sales invoices -Submission of invoices to customers -Management of the Debtors Ledger and credit control procedures -Assisting the Finance Manager with Month End Board Reporting -Accruals Journal and calculation of the commission accrual -Management of the Fixed Asset Register -Intercompany account reconciliation -Provide support to key budget holders, generating reports, ensuring these are accurate -General ad hoc finance administration duties The successful candidate will be studying towards an accountancy qualification either AAT or early stages of ACCA/CIMA. Previous experience in Accounts Receivable is essential and must be able to hit the ground running with these duties. Candidates must have a cab do attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile.
