Overview of the role Provide key support on quarterly financial analysis for the Regulatory Team which will require good knowledge of Insurance Accounting as well as first class Excel skills. Cover detailed reconciliation work between Reserving Data & Finance systems to ensure new systems are cohesive. Provide insight to Project leads / managers regarding proposed data solutions & impacts for Finance. Detailed involvement in testing of the data solutions for projects. Assist in Regulatory Annual filings predominantly for Solvency II (Pillar 3) plus others. Ensure collaboration and communication across all Finance functions and with other departments to assist in the development of reporting processes as it expands to cover new entity and branch reporting. Ad hoc projects as required. Candidate Skills & Attributes Required experience Fully qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Company Market Regulatory Reporting Strong Excel skills Good knowledge of Accounting for Insurance contracts under FRS102/2013 Excellent communication skills and an ability to learn quickly Proven to produce Statutory Accounts without assistance Able to demonstrate initiative and organisation Advantageous Experience Knowledge of Part VII Transfers and/or Functional Currency change.
