The Business A growing organisation located in Newcastle City Centre The Job A 12 months maternity cover to begin early January. An opportunity to join this business as they are going through an exciting growth phase. Part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will build strong relationships with other senior manager and the wider business. This role will provide management information to the Directors to make strategic decisions and manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the business. Oversee the Finance Team, prepare the annual accounts and liaise with Auditors whilst ensuring that appropriate financial controls are in place and that all legislative and statutory requirements are met. Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the finance team Produce timely and accurate management accounts Manage the annual audit and preparation of statutory accounts Production of budgets and forecasts Maintenance of Fixed Asset records Management of payments, cash flow and bank balances Manage the company pension schemes Management of payroll, including submissions to HMRC Manage HR system, tracking holidays and sickness Experience/Qualifications Required Suited to a Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by Experience Ability to demonstrate experience across a broad range of accounting practices including payroll and VAT Team management experience Strong communication skills, ability to deal with the wider business and have the ability to influence
