Our client, a top Accountancy Practice based in Peterborough have a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified Accountant looking for a challenging and progressive role. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and part way through ACA/ACCA with 1-3 years experience. You would be responsible for a broad range of clients, including partnerships, trusts, sole traders and companies covering various activities. A range of experience across client type and size would be desirable but is not essential. The successful candidate will be involved with: preparation of management and financial accounts preparation of quarterly VAT returns maintenance of client accounting records contacting clients to retrieve essential data or information visiting clients offsite and carrying out audit tests completion of personal and corporate tax returns completion of ad hoc duties as instructed by managers or partners You will have a strong knowledge of management and financial accounting and the ability to use Excel and Word is essential. If you are hard working, can show initiative and be self-motivated, with the ability to organise your own workload this is the job for you. You will need a flexible, professional approach and have the confidence and ability to communicate effectively with partners and clients.
