My client, a leading specialist components manufacturer, are currently searching for a Import / Export Compliance Coordinator to join their team in Reading on a permanent basis Role: Import / Export Compliance Coordinator
Location:
Reading Duration Permanent Principal Accountabilities Prepare, implement, modify and enforce export licenses, technical assistance agreements, manufacturing agreements and distribution agreements. Distribute and monitor terms of use. Advise personnel worldwide on export matters. Assist in ensuring the Reading Site is thoroughly compliant for foreign visitation and foreign hiring situations. Provide interpretations of export laws and regulations to teammates and expertly guide them in the use/implementation of regulations and authorisations to ensure compliance. Determine reporting requirements and ensure all are submitted in a timely manner. Perform commodity and technology classifications/input to database. Assist to maintain the integrity of information w/periodic audits. Immediately report suspected compliance violations to the Group Director of Trade Compliance and department management and assist with audits, disclosures and investigations as requested. Advise all departments on trade compliance concerns and ensure required licenses and authorisations are in place. Distribute changes to regulations, sanctions, classifications, etc. which may influence or impact business practices. Develop trade compliance training for various departments; work with teammates and department members to develop content consistent with business needs. Key challenges include: The daily business operations of a multi-business and multi-location Operating Group, such as Space and Defense Group, presents complex trade requirements and strategic licensing solutions This individual serves as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact in the area of trade regulation.
