Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be a qualified or qualified by experience Management Accountant that's presently working in a commercial role and, possessing excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, now seeking a new challenge. Undertaking the accounts preparation for an existing portfolio of businesses, while helping them to effectively undertake their own processes and procedures, you'll make recommendations accordingly and focus on; Statutory and management accounts preparation Tax computations and planning Self-assessment Reviewing prepared VAT returns Ensuring CPD requirements are adhered to Client reviews A seasoned Management Accountant possessing strong technical skills, you'll also be a confident communicator, able to work effectively with both the wider internal accounting team and of course external customers where and when required. Excellent all-round MS Office skills are important, as is good all round working knowledge of accountancy software. On offer is a basic starting salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (negotiable subject to experience), along with a range of benefits that include; bonus (to 15%), contributory pension scheme, private medical, Death in Service (3 x salary) and a degree of flexible working.
