If you are looking for a Part-Time role where you can still add value to an organisation & you have a background in Finance, then Travelport could be the place for you. This role will cover half of 37.5-hour week (18.75 hours) and we're extremely flexible with how these hours are worked. Team, Role & Accountabilities This role is within our EMEA Financial Operations team and covers the area of Travel Agent Incentives and Billing Enablement. You will work directly in the TAI (Travel Agent Incentives) team with the processing of Subscriber invoices relating to incentive Payments that the team deal with for the 20 countries that are managed within the Swindon office. You will be responsible for, checking the invoice details, recording and submitting the documents to the dedicated Travel Agent Accounts Payable team in line with the agreed SOX audited process. The individual will also help with month end reporting duties and will help the team deal with audit requests when they occur. This dynamic and exciting role will involve; Support the Senior Financial Analyst Month end duties Prepare monthly payment runs Prepare monthly accrual runs Attend month-end close calls identifying rate/accrual differences Develop manual processes to supplement the FA Calculator functionality, where required (i.e. to process complex contract constructs) Data Maintenance for our internal system and other models ensuring that they are complete and accurate records and that data entry processes are controlled and can be audited, including Identifying new contracts /amendments/terminations, Creating contract registers where they don't already exist, by reviewing and analysing contracts Build relationships with functions involved in the end to end process (Sales, QOM / Provisioning, Decision Support, Financial Operations, Internal Business Systems) to pro-actively resolve process queries and provide the best possible service to customers (Travel Agents) Come and join us... A strong background in Accounting/Finance Have a desire to study for a relevant qualification Attention to detail, accurate when working under pressure and to deadlines. The ability to work to targets, achieving objectives and meeting deadlines. MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills at an intermediate level or better Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with other departments and staff in other countries. Ability to multi-task, solve problems and take responsibility for resolution Ability to work together as a team and individually in line with the workload.
