Conrad Finance are pleased to be working with a leading Marketing business based on the outskirts of Colchester who are currently looking to recruit a Part Qualified / Senior Accountant to join their growing Accounts team. With their growing reputation they are now a partner to several well-known businesses within a variety of sectors and offer the successful candidate a good working environment to continue building their Accountancy career with. This exciting role will largely require the successful candidate to have previous experience within a varied Accounts role and ideally be studying an Accountancy qualification or similar. This position will report in to the Financial Controller and support a selection of divisions in delivering an all-round Finance service to the wider business as required. Duties
• Prepare, reconcile and analyse the monthly management reports; Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Perform Balance sheet reconciliations and Variance Analysis
• Financial Reporting and Analysis including, budget/forecasting, working capital and Group Finance reporting
• You will support with any acquisition integration/due diligence
• You will work on projects within the team and department including key process testing & systems
• Assist in the accounting integration of new products into the accounting structure and systems
• Analyse and solve Adhoc problems using knowledge of business and systems
• Perform WIP analysis, product costing, provisions (i.e. stock)
• Process intercompany transactions
• Review bad debt, accruals and prepayment calculations
• Treasury postings and reconciliations
