Payroll Officer
A leading company in the Belfast charity sector are recruiting for an additional Payroll Office on a temporary contract. Duties will include: - To correctly input all information into the payroll systems (Sage, ResourceLink) for the proper payment of all relevant salaries; - To action expense sheets for staff, checking mileage rates, extra hours worked and sleep-over allowances; - To process sick leave, calculating statutory and occupational sick leave pay; - To calculate, record and process statutory maternity/paternity leave entitlements; - To assist in recording and ensuring that all amounts due to the Government and other external bodies in respect of Income Tax, National Insurance, Pensions and other payroll deductions are paid; - To action monthly payroll account reconciliations as requested by Finance Department; - To respond professionally (verbal and written) and in a timely manner to staff queries relating to Payroll; - Any other duties as and when necessary.
