Accounts & Audit Manager
You're an accounts and audit manager with at least 5 year's experience within an accountancy practice environment. ACA or ACCA qualified, you probably possess 2 years post qualification experience. You know the ropes. Technically competent, you're confident supervising junior members of staff and will be doing accounts prep, corporation tax computations and self-assessments. If you've got exposure to audit, brilliant, but it's not absolutely essential. It will make up 30-40% of the role but support is there. You'll be using IRIS, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero packages day to day - the usual suspects so no doubt you've used some or all before. And you want progression? Great, because there's partnership opportunity in the future, if you want it. In addition to your salary, you'll be part of the company bonus scheme and a company pension plan.
