JOB TITLE Commercial Finance Manager JOB TYPE Full-Time LOCATION Kew Gardens, London JOB PURPOSE The primary purpose of this position is to support the Senior Commercial Planning & Reporting Manager in the period end reporting, budgeting and cost control of Jigsaw's UK and International businesses, which includes a key business partnering role with members of the Senior Management Team. This role is a mix of hands on accounting in a true Omnichannel environment plus the ownership of the financial and commercial agenda in the areas of Property (Stores and Concessions), Retail Operations, Marketing and IT. You will be under the day-to-today management of an experienced Senior Manager and have daily liaison with the Head of Finance and CFO; you will be expected to build strong business partner relationships with the Directors and other Senior stakeholders operating in your business areas. There are two analysts that report into the role. This is a truly exceptional mid/senior level finance position for an individual that has a genuine desire to operate the financials within a leading British heritage fashion brand, in an exciting and fast paced. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will lead the periodic production of management accounting and key variance analysis across Jigsaw UK & International (multi-currency); You will be an integral member of the team delivering on the re-forecast and budgeting processes across the business; Be responsible for reporting Jigsaw store and concession performance deputise in the weekly Senior property meetings and liaising with our property and rates consultants; Be responsible for reporting on Jigsaw's International business, managing the Analyst and giving guidance to our international business partners on performance; Responsible for reporting periodic Marketing & IT spend, reforecasting and holding the business to account in these areas; Computation of return on investment and viability analysis for store openings, closures, and marketing spend; Be responsible for reporting on Jigsaw's Retail estate, specifically variable store wages and store bonus calculations and improvement of the scheme; Assisting on 3-year strategic plan from insight and commercial intelligence gained in your areas; Coordinate the Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting processes in your area, with the Financial Accounting Manager; Assisting with year-end audit and the statutory reporting of one international Division; Driving ad hoc analysis and insight and seeking continuous improvement of performance and process in your areas, leveraging our strong Business Intelligence (BI) capability where possible; and Management of 2 analysts.
