Interim Accountant - Public Sector Venn Group are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join a public sector organisation based in Exeter.

Exeter Length: 3-4 months Rate: Competitive daily rate dependant on experience IR35 Status: Inside

Responsibilities:
To be the lead accountant for the organisation in respect of the provision of management accounting across a range of services providing financial advice and guidance Responsible for the preparation of budgets and budget monitoring Responsible for the production of final accounts and providing financial advice and support To undertake technical research and advise management as appropriate To attend committee and other meetings representing Finance To prepare reports and project evaluations, financial and otherwise, within agreed timescales To lead on either insurance or Treasury Management providing the full range of services and liaison with third party service providers Required experience: ACCA/CIMA Qualified preferable Experience working within finance departments in the public sector Should your skillset and experience match our clients requirements and this position is of interest to yourself, please contact Charlotte Smith on or email .
