Group Head Financial Controller required to work near Watford. Principal

Responsibilities:
Supporting the Group's Finance & Investments strategies, plans, policies, processes and procedures Facilitating the development of the Group's financial business plan Implementing effective succession plans for all senior management and key positions within the teams Delegating relevant authorities to direct reports as appropriate Accurately producing the Group's financial information in line with a published timetable Implementing appropriate Business Continuity plans that are effective and in line with business requirements Monitoring the function's service level agreements and the associated KPIs Ensuring that the accounts comply with the latest Statutory and regulatory rules (IFRS), regulation and standards Key contributor to the production of the SFCR and RSR Monthly and quarterly reporting financial results with Client analysis and commentary compared to budget or the latest forecast. Ensuring that the reports are accurate and on time for Group reporting Responsible for managing the provision of timely, complete and accurate commission, profit share, quota shares, and management information statements for all PIC clients that have commitments within their legal contract Responsible for managing the accurate and timely posting of all the financial transactions and all the underwriting and expense payments of the business Responsible for ensuring all processes are followed according to all the procedures and controls as set by the Group; and reporting adherence to the procedures and controls Manage an open and co-operative relationship with the FCA, PRA and other regulators Skills required: 7yrs proven Group Financial Controller Leading a team delivering the statutory reporting under IFRS A proven track record of managing the annual budget process Development of key business KPIs Evidence of delivering process efficiencies in Finance, Operations and reporting areas A solid grounding in managing P&L stake-holders Essential Qualifications ACA / ACCA in addition to experience as a high performing manager of a Finance team Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent (3 years) Salary & Benefits: Excellentsalary & benefits, inc. car allowance, bonus scheme, 10% Non-contributory Pension Scheme 2.5% matched by company, 25 days holiday per annum, Holiday buy and sell scheme, Private medical cover, Permanent health insurance.
