Trainee Accountant Based: Bolton

up to £20k, study support for AAT, holidays, pension, private healthcare, opportunities for progression Our client is an excellent, expanding business based in the centre of Bolton, part of a larger organisation they run independently offering a range of niche services to customers throughout the UK and Europe. Having placed 2 staff members over the last few years we know them well. Due to growth, the business are looking to appoint a full time Trainee Accountant to join their team of 14 in finance. We are looking for an Accounts Assistant studying their AAT who is looking to continue that and gain exposure to management accounts. Role: Assisting Management Accountant with full management accounts process at month end Reporting bank balances and full analysis through Excel Transactional duties - dealing with Sales Ledger and Credit Control, unallocated cash and balances on creditors Dealing with payments, write-offs and refunds Sending weekly invoice reports to parent company Assisting with supplier payment runs MI reporting and analysis Sales ledger account reconciliations on legacy ledgers Assisting with management accounts preparation for group over 2 companies Experience: At least 12 months experience in Accounts.
