An exciting opportunity has arisen to join nationwide company in the construction industry. The company are looking to recruit a Credit Controller on a permanent basis to join the team at their Coventry office.
Your new role
Working as Credit Controller you will be responsible for the credit control of specific divisions or division of the company. You'll be providing credit control services to your division and dealing with customers in a professional manner. This will include and will not be limited to credit checking new contract clients; posting applications for payment, VAT invoices and credits; and maintaining cashbook and debtors' ledger. You will be expected to maintain divisional ledger and achieve set KPI's and targets by maintaining debtor information in an efficient and timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous credit control experience and be computer competent with Microsoft applications - preferably Excel and Navision. Strong oral and written communication skills are also necessary as you will be liaising with a diverse client base. Experience within the construction industry is desirable but not compulsory. You will be confident and self-sufficient with the ability to work with your team to meet deadlines and targets.
