A new opportunity has arisen to join the finance team for one of our Coventry based customers. The company are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Working as the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will provide end to end Purchase Ledger support, being accountable for the full purchase ledger function whilst raising approved purchase orders. You will prepare payment runs processing bank statements, invoices and complete bank reconciliations. Additionally, you'll be expected to respond to phone calls and deal with third parties.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience within a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable role. You should have knowledge of MS office and accountancy software alongside the ability to plan and prioritise effectively. Attention to detail is desirable and strong communication and interpersonal skills as you will be confidently liaising both via telephone and face-to-face.
