Pertemps Recruitment currently require a temporary Credit Controller to join a leading Public Sector client based in Glasgow city centre. This role will be temporary ongoing, working 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Rate of pay will be £11.82 per hour. The purpose of this role is to assist with collection activity within a Credit Control team, with responsibility for debt collection across the organisation. Duties/Responsibilities Collect outstanding debt by telephone, email and face to face Deliver a customer focussed, pro-active service that uses early intervention techniques Actively manage customers to improve the collection of debt Ensure weekly reminders letters are sent and collate figures for weekly meetings Review collated overdue debt on a daily and weekly basis by investigating reasons for non-payment Run weekly and monthly aged debt reports Proactively identify and monitor any disputed amounts Month end procedures Skills/Experience Required Relevant experience of working in a credit control environment Knowledge of financial and accounting processes Experience of using computerised finance systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook If you meet the criteria listed above, and would be available to start immediately then please send your CV to (url removed) [1].
