My client are a consumer focussed, specialist provider of residential mortgages, providing a diverse range of products and priding themselves on offering sustainable financial solutions. With an ever-growing book of business, they are in search of a proactive leader to be the driving force for the next stage of business and product development. The role will be crucial in unlocking potential in the market, innovating and incubating potential new ventures. Having already identified some key areas for expansion, the CEO will be the strategic mind behind the delivery of the growth stage, as well as a hands-on manager and the face of investor relations and new business pitches. The ideal candidate will need to have solid experience within the Financial Services industry, ideally Lending, Consumer Finance or Fintech. You'll have exposure to sales, legal and product and possess the gravitas and confidence needed to engage external investors and lead a bright and committed team. Key remit: Deliver the strategy and take responsibility for the development of the business proposition Control operational detail with rigor through excellent planning, monitoring and review Work with the product development function to extend product range and drive further growth Curate and develop a quality consumer brand. Present the company in its best light to potential investors Show clarity, transparency and strong communication skills in the tasks of leading and motivating the business and its people Increase Gross Profit from existing products Attract additional capital to accelerate the growth. Find, plan and execute new sources of revenue Drive performance and fresh thinking amongst all employees Person profile: Track record of delivery within a financial organisation, ideally having developed new products/ services Experience in the lending industry Sales or marketing experience gained within a consumer-focused organisation Outstanding leadership skills; someone who can enthuse and inspire and is known for energy, work rate and self-motivation Highly numerate, analytical and comfortable with complex financial arrangements Credible and persuasive at all levels in the organisation, and externally, coupled with a toughness of purpose and direction Commercially aware; able to see opportunities for business growth and expansion Internal capability builder motivated to coach and develop colleagues and raise standards Ability to bring process, procedure and policy to a growth business without stifling innovation Integrity, Transparency and Accountability A high-quality Bachelor's degree, with a post-graduate business qualification
