An exciting opportunity has come up for an ambitious individual to join a well-established, multinational insurance company as an Accounting Specialist on a 12 month contract. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to Analysing monthly cash transactions, preparing and posting cash journals to the ledger Preparing, processing and reconciling intercompany transactions including settlements Preparing and analysing the monthly expenses report Producing monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving issues affecting the integrity of the ledger Supporting the Finance Director in special Projects on an ad hoc basis You will be either holding a graduate degree in Finance or Accounting, studying towards an accounting qualification, or have work experience in a Finance Function. As an ideal candidate you will be results orientated, possess strong communication skills, have previous reconciliation experience and be confident in using Excel. Experience using Oracle Accounting software is also desirable. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills at a growing international insurer
