The Opportunity: I'm currently working with a Private Equity backed multi-site B2C services business with an excellent market position within the sector. As the PE houses drives a buy-and-build strategy, the finance team has grown significantly to accommodate their considerable growth. They currently require a commercial finance business partner to join their head office in North West Surrey - partnering closely with multiple regional sales directors across the UK. With all technical accounting processed by the finance team, this is an opportunity to engage in a purely commercial role. You will review work produced by them and communicate relevant financial information to the sales directors - providing them with invaluable insight on their performance and advise them on improvements measures. A fantastic chance to gain some fantastic commercial experience over 6 months - providing invaluable support where there is a real skill-gap at present The Role: Engaging in a purely commercial business partnering role, crucial elements of the role include: You will provide commercial support to very non-financial heads across multiple regions -communicating financial information to relevant heads and taking responsibility for driving regional financial performance. Budgeting, forecasting and analytical support. Supporting strategic decisions across the regions, partnering with the heads and challenging them on inevitable financial issues Ad hoc assistance for the Head of FP&A. The Requirements: I'm looking to speak to ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountants. Strong commercial mindset and proven track record with commercial business partnering - I'm looking for someone who can deliver quality from day one Ideally experience within a multi-site SME but not necessary. Experience within a PE backed business would be a significant advantage. Ability to travel to various regions (all expenses paid) up to 3 days a month. Must be available within 1 week notice.
