Orka Financial is currently recruiting a temporary Assistant Accountant for a company based in High Wycombe. Initially, the role will be for a three month period but there is a strong chance of it continuing on from there and potentially going permanent as well. The role has a heavy payroll focus, although our client use an outsourced payroll provider so your role will focus more on making sure that the payroll is submitted to them in a timely manner. There are circa 200 staff across a number of countries in Europe who are all paid on a monthly basis and you will be the main point of contact for any queries. You will also get involved with the month end work around accruals/prepayments, fixed assets and VAT returns and provide support to the wider finance team where necessary.
