Description

Our client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their Accountancy team in Farnborough

• Prepare thehocnthly managemehocaccounts

• Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Revaluations of foreign denominated accounts

• Maintaining monthly accruals and release of prepayments

• Posting and maintaining the interface of sales transactions

• Recording sales invoices for ad-hoc services provided

• Invoicing and maintaining accurate and up to date intercompany accounts, ensuring all transactions in respective periods have been recorded and agreed.

• Maintain tight control over the Sales and Purchase ledger for the trading companies, liaising with the Finance Controller and the Treasury Manager to ensure up-to-date records are maintained

• Closely liaising with the Assistant Purchases Manager and the Supplier assistants to ensure that all amounts are being recorded promptly and to the required standards.

• Liaising with the Finance Analysts to ensure plane activity has been appropriately accounted for in the correct accounting period.

• Assist the Finance Controller in the preparation of the year-end audit process and preparation of the Financial Statements

• VAT returns and compliance

• Assist the Finance Controller and Finance Director in ad-hoc requests and analysis

Part Qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA, ACA

Sage 200

Advanced Excel and Microsoft skills

Salary £35,000 - £42,000
