Description
This role will partner with Regional and Country Managing Directors, to support them with finance information to allow them to make profitable decisions. Whether it's opening a new office in a new region, restructuring a business, or increasing headcount in key areas - the Commercial Finance Director will be at the heart of all key business decisions.
Key responsibilities will include partnering with MD's and Sales Directors. It will produce analysis and insights for board packs and management information to aid decision making. The Commercial Finance Director will build strong relationships with the operational business to become a "trusted advisor" to them. He/she will manage the budgeting and forecasting process - liaising with the business to ensure accurate and timely budget submissions; work with management teams in preparation and review of business cases, or in strategic analysis and decision making; provide support to client tenders and national accounts teams and perform reviews of commercial contracts and will oversee the accounting inputs/output to/from the business to ensure that transactions are accurately and timely posted, and reflect accurately business activity.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a track record of business partnering in a large international company. A clear career progression will be needed (not too many company moves in quick succession on your CV) and in person you will be a strong communicator with an extremely commercial mindset.
Job Offer
A salary of between £75,000 and £85,000 depending on experience. In addition there will be a £5,000 company car allowance. There is a 5% matched pension contribution, private healthcare and a flex benefits package (which amongst other things will allow you to buy and sell annual leave). There isn't a defined bonus with this role - this is discretionary.
